Since 2002, Water Works has offered this amazing opportunity to give your
performance-minded youngster (entering grades 1-8) the summer dream of a
lifetime. Water Works' professional staff will encourage your child's natural confidence
and inspire their creative expression. The students love the open park
setting and revel in discovering the basics of Shakespeare, safe stage combat,
dance, improv and scene work.

KidsAct! is a one-of-a-kind performance workshop in an outdoor setting, culminating
in a free-admission show on our professional stage. It's the most fun
your aspiring actor will have all summer! Just $185 per student for the whole
week. Registration is limited to 75 students.

Water Works Academy – New this year!

Professional Training for the Student Actor
July 25-29, 2011

This one-week intensive for high school and pre-college students gives young
actors the chance to create their own play in the park using a "summer stock"
company approach. Our working professionals will guide students as they embark
on the tasks of writing, directing, stage managing, designing and performing
a one-of-a-kind piece of theatrical magic on our Shakespeare stage in Starr
Jaycee Park. You can't miss this affordable, first-class performance workshop
close to home. The cost is just $185 for the week. Registration is limited to 30
students.
