The Academy is a one-week intensive for high school and pre-college students that gives young actors the chance to create their own play in the park using a "summer stock" company approach. Our working professionals guide students as they embark on the adventure of writing, directing, stage managing, designing and performing a one-of-a-kind piece of theatrical magic on our Shakespeare stage in Starr Jaycee Park.

Your student will love this affordable, first-class performance workshop close to home. The cost is just $200 for the week. Registration is limited to 30 students.

Since 2002, Water Works has offered this amazing opportunity to performance-minded youngsters (students entering grades 1-8) and provided them with an experience they won't soon forget! Water Works' professional staff will encourage your child's natural confidence and inspire their creative expression. Students love the open park setting and revel in discovering the basics of Shakespeare, safe stage combat, dance, improv and scene work.

New this year! KidsAct! will offer students in grades K through 5 a one-of-a-kind outdoor performance opportunity on Friday, August 9 after a week of fun and learning in the park. Middle Schoolers (grades 6-8) will present their own show in the park on Saturday, August 10.

Just $200 per student for the whole week. Registration is limited to 75 students.
