	Y Arts presents a Water Works Theatre Company and Arab Theatrical Arts Guild production of Heather Raffo's *9 Parts of Desire, starring Sarab Kamoo. An international sensation, Heather Raffo's 9 Parts of Desire has been hailed as an example of how art can remake the world! This beautifully shaped one-woman play is a powerful portrait of the extraordinary lives of Iraqi women. Originally produced by Ray Alcodray in 2007, Edward Nahhat's production of Michigan native Heather Raffo's smash hit play tells a compelling story of what it means to be a woman in war-torn Iraq. Y Arts is proud to welcome this important work to the Marlene Boll Theater. The Marlene Boll Theater is located at the Boll Family YMCA at 1401 Broadway in Detroit, just steps from the Broadway People Mover station (map). Ticket Purchase Information All tickets are general admission. You must purchase tickets for a specific date. Tickets for Friday or Sunday performances are $15, and Saturday performances are $20. Performances May 9-11, May 16-18 and May 23 & 24, begin at 8:00 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and at 3:00 pm on Sundays. Tickets purchased online will be held at Will Call at the Marlene Boll Theater (please bring your printed receipt).
